The Home School Association is an organization dedicated to promoting home, school and religious educational experiences. These experiences complement, reinforce, and extend each other so that each child has the best possible opportunities for living his personal commitment to the Catholic faith while acquiring an outstanding education.
The objectives of the Sacred Heart Home School Association are:
Ø To clarify the specific responsibilities of parents, teachers, students, principal, pastor and Home School Association for achieving the School’s educational goals.
Ø To provide parents the opportunity to become fully informed of the content and style of the School’s education of the children.
Ø To foster frequent positive parent-teacher-child interactions as they affect the religious and general education of the children.
Ø To encourage specific areas of parental support that the teachers need in order to make their classroom teaching more effective, and thus ensure a quality Catholic School education.
Ø To help reinforce the religious education of the children in the home.
Ø To encourage the offering of the services and talents of the members to the pastor and school principal in order to aid and assist the educational process.
